Default NY seminar

My, what a busy month this will be.

David Carrol is an honest down to earth naturalist. He has spent his whole life studying turts with the last few dozen years in his own back yard swamp in New Hampshire. And yes he does actually wear that bandana all the time.

His book Year of the Turtle is a beautiful classic.

A great programme indeed! However, as you say, it comes at a very busy time of year. This event in New York conflicts with the BCG symposium being held in Milton Keynes the same weekend.
I know that you have met David Carroll at is home in New Hampshire, however, wouldn't it be great if we could get him to present his life's work here in the UK?

Year of the turtle is one of my favourite books. Not favourite turtle books, not favourite natural history books; favourite books. Of all time. Its brilliantly written, puts you right in those swamps. He writes about spotted turtles in almost mystical terms. We've all fallen for it.
