If buying through ebay you're covered by paypal (which almost always sides with the buyer.)

Have bought lots of things from HK over the years without issue.
To pay VAT etc, the limit is just £18, anything over and you could get stung for taxes.
So at £24.95 you could get stung but the seller will probably send it as a "gift" anyway.

I've bought many stuff from Hong Kong.Free postage and very reasonable delivery time.Never had any problems.

still no sign of this, it has been despatched. what's keeping them.. it's not as if hong kong is on the other side of the world or owt

We waited 2 weeks for a package for Courtney to come from China, it arrived yesterday Alan I've had them arrive quicker than that though!

when I was a nipper everything cheap was stamped 'made in hong kong' a good few years later it was 'made in taiwan' and now it's 'made in china'

most of the china stuff is made in prison factories, if they get a big order in they probably have to go out and arrest and convict some more new staff

i got it eventually, all genuine Seagull and about £155 cheaper than Nikon own brand one
