Default Wanted: Indian Star Information

Ihave 2 Hermanns.... I would love an indian star tortoise..... BUT ... I know nothing on how to keep them, what to feed etc... Ive had my hermans for 3 years and I studied them for 7 months before I got 1.....

So now im trying to find out about Indian stars... does anyone have any information on them please so I can look into getting one possibly next year

Just do a search on the forum as there is a lot of information on Stars here on the forum.

Their care is very similar to leopards torts care.
I have mine about 3 months now and although he is painfully shy he seems to be doing well. He favours pellets rather than weeds.

Yeah the advice here is spot on. Also hit Stells up, she has a few and advised me.

They will stop being shy soon, wait and see, they become very outgoing..almost too much lol

Really? I'm glad to hear that. I've noticed since I put him in a viv from a table that he is getting braver.
I think mine is WC so it could take a little longer.
