Ipad chatbox refresh

Hi guys and girls

Just wondered if there was any reason anyone could think of why the chatbox doesn't seem to auto refresh on iPads etc

I've just got myself an iPad mini, and can't answer that question yet as getting myself familiar with it, I'm happy coz no more using my mobile for the Internet and no more bloody predictive text in my messages! And I'm trying to work out how to copy pictures into this forum, if anyone knows how to do it lol x

Mine is the same Paul, I always use my iPad, and I can't do chat , cos it won't refresh,

Tablets and phones use basic browsers that don't have all the bells and whistles of a computer based version. As such there's a few things they won't like doing - Chatbox is one of them. That said, the Chatbox software is quite old, I'll see if there's a newer more tablet friendly version.

Chatbox used to refresh on my ipad a few months back, but in saying that it may be an apple update that has changes thing as opposed to anything on this site. Some of the other forums I go on the chatbox refreshes automatically but then they have a seperate window for chat

Just checked - we're using the latest Chatbox so there's not an update I'm afraid.

Anyone using an Apple device can download Google Chrome from the App Store. The auto refresh feature works while using that browser

Thanks Ross, will take a look at that, do you know how to upload pictures into this forum without using a separate app?

No, I don't think there is a way, although the Photobucket App is not bad.

I use an I pad and you can copy from photo bucket to add your pictures you have SW open in safari and use the photo bucket app and swap between the two bit fiddly but it works ok.
