I think its sad he cant defend him self incase its all false... However it angers me about what has been said in the papers ...disgusting lies etc. Well it disgusts me how any people would over look serious accusations like this! Not sure what to think until evidence comes out.

Most sex crimes go undetected and unpunished.

Well it always comes out later...

The priest who married my mum and dad is in jail now... he had about 30 - 40 victims some under 10 years old but the victims didnt come out till they were adults.

I think it should be investigated for the victim's sake even if hes dead.

He obviously had very peculiar morals, why would he feel the need to defend Gary Glitter ?

Apparently it was no big deal because Mr Glitter's collection of 4000 child pornography images "were for his own gratification".

It's incredibly difficult to get anyone convicted of these sorts of crimes and the more money and power the man has, the harder it is. Clinton wasn't a criminal but he risked everything to gain enjoyment by manipulating a young woman for his own pleasure. And he was still going to deny everything until the DNA test on the dress.

I thought saville was a secret gay but I've changed my mind.

There is a large amount of stuff on the internet going back years and years. Rumours of J.Sav sexually abusing girls have been doing the rounds for over a decade but a fear of his lawyers kept it out of the media. He also threatened to stop his charitable works if anyone printed anything.

Paedophiles portray themselves as good people to the public, they also groom children for a long time before they have sex with them, the children perceive this as love and affection and so think that its not wrong if having sex with them is showing love, paedophiles are calculating, vindictive, nasty creatures, it doesn't suprise me about jimmy saville, and why not now! X
