Tropical tortoise outdoor enclosure advice
Im planning on getting some redfoots later in the year and I want to start their enclosure. Does anyone keep theirs outside? I want to make a heated poly tunnel but I'm unsure on what heating equipment to use to ensure its warm even in colder days and also what humidity equipment I should use
Thanks for your advice |

To be honest the redfoots do not really go out in the winter in our country.
My redoots have a heated living area inside a heated shed, which then opens out into a greenhouse and outdoor area. Even though on the better days in the winter I open their shutters they do not venture out, they know where the best temperatures are. You will need a lot of heating to heat a polytunnel for redoots I think. Hope this helps
