A species I would love to keep They are lovely, Dan. You have a good group so hopefully some eggs/hatchlings in the near future. Whats incubation like, length wise? Or is that something you are going to find out for yourself

Thanks Rach, Alison, Michelle, Louise and Daisy, Kelly xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and Pete
They do seem to be hard to find and aren't bred very often in captivity Alison. Some have better personalities than others Michelle. My oldest male (male 2) still after all these years considers me something that might do him in. He walks very tall and with a stiff legged gait when he sees me, trying to make himself look bigger. Most of them are inquisitive and they are very good climbers. Not that good at digging though. Length Pete can be anywhere from 90 days to over 300 days. The over 300 days seems to be the most common. They do diapause, but I'm not sure when they do. It could be the begining, middle or end. The few people and zoos that have hatched eggs don't say when the diapause is happening. I guess I'll have to find that out myself. Danny
