Yes the megaray lamps are made by westron but they are not exactly the same as the T Rex active UV lamp.
I think what hapenned with megaray lamps is that all was well when they were not trying to make very many of them. Then word got around about how good the lamps were and when they tried to scale up production something went wrong. If Megaray could get the consistency back to where it was a few years ago, it would probably still be the best lamp but maybe nobody would believe it
