Sheffield Tort City
I popped into Sheffield today with my lovely friend Jenny and now that I have my little Ovid I seem to bump into tortoises everywhere I go! First of all there was a market stall selling little wooden torts about the same size as Ovid (I had to buy one of course. We then went into an art gallery and saw this magnificent metal sculpture:
Finally, we headed down a shopping street called The Moor. Lots of buidlings are being demolished there for a general renovation and in their place is large mural. Guess which animal they have pictured being used to pull the shops down?: Finally I opened up The Sun and lo n behold there is a story about a loved up tort in there as well! It's been a tortoise day today so that's a good, good day! |

Haha things seem that way don't they! I was in a petshop yesterday getting a bigger hide for my Iberas (bless them the 2 of them were squished into a tiny hide together ) and Donna the manager said oh theres your tort friend just came in, we first met through here and have communicated through Facebook but never met until yesterday She'd been telling Donna about me, and Donna was like Oh yeah, I know her too! Small world eh?

Wow I used to live in Shefiield, they certainly did not have all those torts around . Or I was not paying attention.
