Christmas day treat!
Once a year, if he has been a good tort, I allow little Ovid to have a strawberry as a special treat! Here he is tucking in!
He seemed to enjoy it but now I have a nearly full punnet of strawbs that I guess I will have to finish off myself, what us tortoise owners do for their torts eh? |

Ovid is a lovely looking horsfield.
Lolly's annual treat is a blackberry. She really goes for it, and when she lifts her head afterwards the red juice around her face and running down her neck makes her look like a vampire tort!!! It doesn't look like the strawberry lasted very long. Crwban

My boys had a fat strawberry each on Christmas day and a piece of mango. They loved the mango, first time they had one. I had to give 3 pieces because they started to fight about it. I had to have the rest for my breakfast, which was hard.
