help me please?
i was just curious to knowing that if you buy a brother and sister from them same breeder at them same time and if you then put them in the same pen together, would they have babies or would they not because they are brother and sister?

so is it best to have the sme breed of tortoises but from differennt breeders?

I'm sure they would breed when big enough, I don't think they will know they are related!! Not sure if it should be advised to let them though, you need someone experienced to answer fully!

It is more than likely they would mate and produce viable eggs. The obvious way around this is to destroy any eggs laid. I wouldn't be keeping one female with one male though, you need at lkeast 2 females for every male, so he can spread his attentions.
