Default Bleach on my plants

Well my lovely neighbour was cleaning her balcony with bleach and very generiously sweeped it all onto my plants. I asked her what she was doing and she told me. I then told her she was going to kill my plants. Love her and bless her and keep her from harm but would you throw them out? Or will they be ok in a month? Like they say from the garden centre?

Hi Anna,

I would give them a good wash...maybe put them out in the rain....they should be ok, if the leaves haven't turned black from the bleach?

according to this article
bleack breaks down relatively quickly
give your plants a good hose down
and as you suggest give them a few weeks to recover

Well I watered the plants down and they don't look too bad at the moment

I reported this neighbour because throwing chemicals at my plants is the last straw as far as I'm concerned

They throw all sorts down at me, lighted fags, ash, money, clothes, nappies, toys you name it my plants have worn it

Well she denied it all when she was questioned. Not the bleach, she admitted that and said sorry (not to me). She has a cheek since there is only one family in my whole block.

I don't make a habit of reporting nieghbours but like I said it has to stop now!

Some people are nice enough, just inconsiderate. Unfortunately talking to people like that usually doesn't work, you'll just be ignored and classed as a 'moaner'. The only way is to report them...
