Bees
I have planted the seeds I got from Blue Peter. They were special one's to attract bees.
I have planted lots of weeds from the Shelled warrior shop and I have seen a lot of bees about my garden. They are supposed to be in trouble and deminishing in number but I have seen plenty so far this year. Has anyone else noticed lots of bees? Or do you think there is a shortage? It would be a shame to lose them wouldn't it? |

A swarm of honey bees passed by our house the other day, I haven't seen that for a long time...my husband rushed around shutting windows but they passed by and we watched them disappear in to the distance over the other gardens. I think there are definately more around this year.

Also lots of butterflies have been about. I don't know the names of any butterflies but I've seen lots of mostly white ones (with colourful spots). They love the Blue Peter flowers as well as the other flowers on my patio.
Now if only I could see a hedgehog. I haven't seen one for decades |
