Last time I went to vets I took Baxter for a check after nose-bubble panic (he was fine) and i brought Dandelion along too as she hadn't been since last check up after illness. So she was checked and weighed too, total cost £25.
The time before that Dandelion had worms and also had an infection. Total cost £98 which included: -wormer for both torts -blood test for Dandy -Overnight stay for Dandy -Meds and syringes etc, and a session with the vet nurse to learn how to inject :-S I think in general a check up is £25, procedures like giving meds is about £15 (although the nice vet that used to be there used to only charge me for meds which was once only 8p!!!) The blood test was £35.

Thanks Vicky12, i would realy apreciate the details of your vets. I actualy live at Boughton so Maidstone is not that far away. I think i have only stayed with this vets so long because they treated my elderly dog towards the end of her days even though that was years ago and all the vets from that time have since left. So definetly time for a change!

Just got back from the vets and got charged a total of £30, consultation and worming! Very pleased with that myself, Baron on the other hand is very much unimpressed! I'm off to pick some dandies to see if he will forgive me!!
