Bad accident
My lovely 24 year old son has had a awful work accident. He severed his fingers and has had surgery to amputate his middle finger half way down, index finger had to be amputated to the first knuckle bit, thumb and another finger hes lost the tops.
He was in theatre for over 8 hours last night but they just couldn't be saved I'm distraught and not coping with it very well

Oh Lynn that is very upsetting for you
What you have to remember is that he just needs time to recover, which he will, things could have been much worse, like a car accident or something fatal. I know it is hard for the family to accept that someone is changed forever, but you still have him and that is the most important thing. Sending hugs x |

That's awful hope he recovers well. I don't think it matters how old children get there parents would always want to take the pain away for them, mine are just little but I hate when they hurt themselves. Sending hugs x

I'm really sorry to hear this Lynne. I hope your son recovers well from the surgery. I can appreciate how hard it must be for you. You've had so much to bear this year. Chin up and stay strong. x

Oh Lynne things have not been good for you and your family recently with your mum, husband and now your son, I do really feel for you, you still have your son and that's the important thing, but I can imagine it is very hard to deal with at the moment xxx
