Hi does anyone know of a good, same day tortoise courier? Desperatly need one asap.

Try this one. I don't know from personal experience how good they are but they are recommended by members on RFUK and I was going to use them but I got my Bearded dragon somewhere else. I got a few quotes and they sound really good. This is their blurb.

We operate a hand to hand collection and delivery policy. This means that your animal is collected and delivered by the same van and driver, no hubs or other carriers are involved, your new pet is with us all the time.

Our van is fitted with 3 inverters which run 240v heated cabinets that are kept at 23 to 26c by way of Lucky reptile thermo controls with alarms. Heat cables and heat mats are carried to accommodate larger animals in their own containers. Temperature guns are used en route to monitor ambient temperatures. Animals not needing heat such as rabbits etc. are kept in unheated areas.

We hold a type 2 DEFRA transporter authorisation which covers us for all journeys even those over 8 hours, including DWAA species, and as such provide care to your animal(s) as needed by the species and required by our authorisation.

All we need to book you on is an email with names, address , postcodes and phone (pref mobile) numbers, email addresses for both collection and delivery points, along with details of what it is we are collecting or delivering. Please include confirmation of acceptance of price, and if payment will be by sender or receiver. Payment can be by cash on collection or delivery, or in advance via paypal (subject to fees).

We are a real pet courier company, we do not carry general freight and all vehicles including cars are fully insured for this use.
