Further to what Kreacher said, can you remember what you last ate before the pain came on? Stomach pain and bloating is a symptom of Coeliac disease. This is an allergy to gluten and generally does start when you are around the age of 10. As others have said, I think an urgent trip to your GP is in order.

I had to go on a gluten free diet for a while to see if that is what I had or to see if I was allergic to specific foods. I think you might get thin really quickly with coeliac disease. Gluten is in just about everything you eat

It could be a food intolerance. How about keeping a food diary for a while & look back to see if a pattern develops? The reaction/bloating doesnt happen immediately, it can vary from person to person & remember it could be more than one thing. Once you have a suspect food cut it out for a while, about 3 or 4 weeks, then try it again & you will soon know if its a culprit

Hi Everyone,

Thanks again for your advice and feedback

I went to the docs, which was a waste of time, he said it might be acid and to take some tablets for 28 days then it should go away? I don't see how that can work?

I will keep a food diary, as suggested. I just have to remember to keep at it as I often forget or just don't have time (but I shall make time).

I feel at the moment like I am falling to bits, with this tummy upset and my tooth (root canal) which is giving me loads of pain, I'm fit for nothing more than the recycle bin hopefully they might manage to find a use for me

Well enough self pity and thanks again everyone

Hopefully I will be feeling back to myself sooOOoOOOooOOoon xXx
