The first one, presumably the tall leaves in the centre of the picture - Lords and Ladies/Cuckoo Pint/Wild Arum, and in the second photo, again the plant in the centre, Aquilegia.

Both to be avoided.

Ok, Thanks, I'll just leave them in the neighbours garden!

I don't think the first one is Lords and Ladies which is a shiny leaf and a different shape

I spent a while debating it and decided it was or an Arum, or similar - in which case not edible

Any other ideas on it?

I think it might be young leaves of nipplewort which if correct would make it edible. What do others say?

Looks like Nipplewort to me Jonathan But should be easy to figure out, Claire are the leaves sparsely hairy?

Deffo nipplewort at the top, I find the leaves almost floppy to the touch. They have a big leafed head with 'little arms' leaves just below. They also feel slightly fur-like. And are not shiny. The other one....haven't a clue. If it's shiny, usually inedible and a no no. xx
