Normally they crack from one end, as they use the egg tooth to help break the shell. But its not impossible for it to hatch from the top:0)

Good luck! I've only hatched one and that was nerve-wracking enough. She hatched through the side of the egg rather than an end and somehow got in a position so her leg was dangling out the hole. She righted herself though and it was an amazing process to watch. I bet you're glued to the incubator now, watching and waiting for developments.

Clutch 1 (4) eggs laid in this clutch on 15th December pipped today Clutch 2 (3) eggs are on day 40 laid on 28th December Clutch 3 (7) eggs are on day 36 laid 1st January Clutch 4 (5) eggs are on day 29 laid on 8th January Clutch 5 (8) eggs are on day 16 laid on the 21st January Clutch 6 (3) eggs are on day 2 laid on then4th February |
