thankyou.i will get a basking bulb tomorrow which is 100 watts and will look at ceramic heaters and timers.i am presuming i can get these from the shelled warriors

You might want to consider a nice halogen, a nicer light for the tort IMO.
Something like the sylvania range - I like the flood ones. Not so intense as the spot halogens as it spreads the heat a bit more in a range. Have a look at Lightbulbs2u.co.uk Sylvania/screw/flood/halogens - is the ones to have a look at. Dont forget to ensure your holder can take the wattage of the bulbs. xx |
