Same here Sandy. The garden is crying out for it. May tortoises have eaten the grass down to an all time low. Hopefully this rain will make it shoot up and they will have something to graze on.
I bet your boxies love it too

The garden definitely needs a good drink.

I have never seen so much parched grass in the UK and also no water ban...the rain has been refreshing but I do like blue skies and warm sun at least some of the year ! another heatwave to go by August they say ! CB

I loved the rain yesterday and so did Bertie! However, it was torrential so I insisted he go in after a while. Beatrice didn't move from her bed.

It was surreal here, not a single tort about (which is strange as my Hermann's seem to love rain) It literally rained from morning till bedtime! Lovely again today. I only got back for about an hour or so lunch time&was ambushed on the path! (Making up for yesterdays lack of food!)

its so hot...I actually slept for hours due to the heat which I haven't done on this scale since working in Australia til 5am - I remembered I lived on cocktails and cola so I am adopting similar - the sugar boost is actually quite good for you - sugar is not all bad if you are under the weather or the weather is under you !!! think shock - first thing is cuppa and lots of sugar!! My tortoise hate me cause I just plonked them in their water bowls to eat adjacent.......CB
