Default Afew quick pics..

Just thought I would add afew pics I took afew days ago. Been on here a while (some of you may remember me) but havent had chance to post properly lately.....not to long ago I thought I was going to have to sell my torts, I hadnt been well and wasnt coping and thought be best to let them go. I managed to rehome one of the thh to someone who had one of her siblings as my thb was being abit of a bully with her, but I just couldnt bare to let the other 2 go so im making a massive effort to keep them....Anyway here are Shelby the thb (really want to change the name was chosen by a family member and just doesnt stick with me) and Elfie (hope this name sticks) my thh.

Shelby climbing to greet me

Elfie who hates the camera

Both together

Thanks for looking

Talking

Thanks for nice comments...im gutted the weather has turned as was hoping for some nice outdoor piccies.
Im really happy with Elfies shell growth she isnt a greedy tort and will eat what she needs and leave..Shelby on the other hand is always wanting food and while i was ill my OH was feeding them, he didnt have a clue about weeds so we made do with florette salad and komodo pellets twice a week and Shelby has had some recent rapid growth i think because of this (i suspect he gave more than needed)...ive arranged to get some leaf eater pellets now as they seem highly recommended and im back to picking weeds, daily baths and watering their soil substrate so I hope for smooth growth again from now on

It's really not too bad how old are they? by the time she's an adult it won't be noticeable.
My youngest Hermann's came to me at 4 years old looking like a dinosaur I've tried to grow her smooth since she's been with me but even at 7 the pyramiding is still quite prominent although it does look better because it has spread out a bit.

I guess you are right ive just always been so paranoid about the growth. They are 2.5years and 1year so only babies really...plenty of time to rectify
