thanks
ed- I spoke to the owner about your comments and it turns out that they have been keeping her.in the glass viv the whole time due to space. the table was kept in the garage and used to allow her in the garden. so for the past 8-9 years she has been in a very small glass viv with a heat mat and uvb tube.

That's gotta make anyone wonder...

8 or 9 years kinda squashes the 'grown too quickly' theory.
