Is this normal ?
On giving him his daily bath we noticed today he had either urinated or poo'd in the bath we left him for 5 mins then once finished we thought it a good idea to change his water so to keep him clean and we noticed this in the image below (wasnt like this before his bath)
Anyhow without being too much of a newbie we think we know what it is but would like to just check thats this is normal Thanks Lee

I'm no expert but am sure one will be along soon but is it not just his bits? They show them sometimes, not seen mine do it yet but think it depends how mature they are.

Yup ! that's what we were thinking , but my young son was like "OMG Dad is that normal.." so common sense eluded me and I thought Im better off asking as it would just play on my mind until I confirmed it
Its actually gone now so Im guessing thats what it was but thought id leave the pic up just for anyone else who ever wonders

The plastron is saying female, so most likely those are female bits. They are though the youngest female bits I've ever seen.

I see Thanks Danny
We were led to believe it was a he , The main thing is its nothing to worry about. The little fella did a Urate (I think the term is) and once we popped him out to change the water to fresh so he could complete his bath we noticed the protrusion. I think I have a better pic of the underbelly ill post below you may tell the sex a little better from him. We are unsure on age we know its a 2011 hatch but not sure when He weighs 61.5 grams at the moment (gaining weekly) and seems a lot healthier , active & stronger since we had him from the shop. Even his shell is shining a lot more and just looks and feels a lot healthier which we feel good about. Lee

That makes 2 of us Bev! Gutting isn't it. I know the sex of one of mine but that's only because she was so ridiculously overgrown before I got her. All the rest are keeping me guessing!
