If the dry Tortoise diet's Like Mazuri, Leaf eater, Komodo, T Rex, Nutrazu are even retailed by different company's they may have to alter some ingredients to avoid copyright's ect. We get this at work a new product is developed within a month or so it is copied with a slight tweak.

Not at all. Mazuri(US) has no problems with having their product repackaged and sold retail. Again they do well with the zoos so the private sector is not a concern.

My point... made in another post... is that I'm sure there is one source that produces the product that the others like T-Rex... pick up and resell. I'm guessing the initial manufacturer could care less because they are not in the retail market.

probably.

We have a potato producer here who produces ordinary potatoes but also makes other stuff like instant potato, waffles, pringles type crisps, hula hoops, mashed potato in trays etc and they are all packaged according to who the buyer is, like Sainsbury, Asda, Tesco, Cadbury, KP etc, mostly all the same stuff, different label. M&S sometimes specifically ask for a different ingredients in some of their products
