Default Raising Awareness

Hi guys,

How do you all raise awareness about Tortoise care locally

I am going to ask my vet and local Pets @ Home to put up your website and the TT website addresses and has anyone thought about making up a car sticker or T-shirts? They could be sold in the shelled warriors shop. I'd definetly by 2, one for me and one for my other half and think they can be made up quite cheaply. I also thought about writing a childrens book, Tank has given me some writing material after his recent bid for freedom and if any of you have got any funny stories you want me to include I would do my best.

Cheers
Leila

Yeah, Do you think we should run a comp for the best window sticker/T-shirt design? That would be quite good

Yeah but I though that was only to raise awarness about the trade that Tesco were doing. I would like to raise awareness locally because we have a couple of local pet shops who sell torts with vivs etc. I wanted to do something that got people looking at the websites before buying a tort and not after. A window sticker with the website address and a pic of a tortoise might just get people interested enough to look before heading to the local pet store.
I bought my tort on a whim (silly I know!) and only did the research afterwards so he started of life in a viv, however lots of people wouldn't even consider looking on the internet.
