you are right he is bootiful!!!!
is his beak a bit overgrown or is that how hingebacks are supposed to be, to be honest thats the first hinge-back ive seen.
could you or somebody maybe post a pic or 2 of the 'hinge'.

hiya, yea ill take some pics of the hinge tomorrow and post them up for you, i was going to ask about his beak, we have had to have it cut back before, and its growing really quickly again, tried putting large rocks under his food, but it dont seem to be helping... any other suggestions anyone?!?

darren, you can see his hinge slighly in the second picture down, it the largish crease above his back legs, theres once exactly the same on the other side to, i will post more pics up for you aswell though

i use a roof tile for his food or slate also have cuttlefish in his encloser

sorry if this sounds dump why are they called hinge backs???

this is the first ive ever seen read about them but only bits

He is very cute, we have 4 bells hinge backs and 4 homes hinge backs. What sort of enclosure do you have for him? He seems very frinedly for a hinge back which are normnally shy
