The forum isn't an 'app' and the app versions of a forum are a paid for addition that the user would have to pay for - Tapatalk etc.
Mobile bandwidth isn't a huge issue, the forum is not graphics heavy in the slightest unless you go to an image specific thread (Post your Enclosure etc), in which case it would be identical bandwidth use on the mobile version. Basically, it's not needed - hence why we've never bothered.

oooh I don't think we want to pay for an App pap poop!
We love SW for what it is and what it does and all the people on here. That's what makes the difference and why it works. CB

I am only using the forum on my phone (forgot my password and I cant reset it on the tablet as it needs a mouse do the the whole I am not a robot thing but phone has me permanently logged in)
Seems to work well on the phone, as was mentioned its not graphically heavy so it loads well (I do check sw on the bus - when I get the bus)

I wouldn't personally use a mobile version and from what people are saying here it wouldn't add anything for us.
Thanks all for your replies.

I have no idea as to what the difference is and I only use my phone even now I'm in the middle of nowhere and I can get on so it wouldn't make any difference to me.
