If the weather has warmed up a bit then i hope to bring some Stars with me.

Im also planning on bringing some Cacti "opuntia's or prickly pears " to sell as well.

This sounds great Andy ... what a terrific meeting and talk. Thanks for being speaker.

Another vote from me.
North Wales is a bit far to go for this unfortunately.

for you Guy's/ Girls in the North west, there is a meeting this Saturday near Chester. These regional meetings, are usually worth attending!

not sure that a video recording of this event will be possible on this occasion. However, for those whom can get to the venue please be sure to book. Wendy, goes to loads of trouble baking her famous cakes and refreshments.

Sadly I will not be at the meeting tomorrow ... but I know it will be a great success and Lynne, Dave and Paul will be on hand to help. Andy has a terrific presentation for you all ... one I wish I could attend

Must get cooking ... enjoy tomorrow

Wendy, Andys talk was fantastic, so down to earth with a lot of common sense.
I was not sure if I would enjoy the talk, as I dont have any real interest in stars, but go to help out make the meet go smoothly. And help with information where I can.
But I thought it was informed and very useful. He is friendly and approachable person.
And I am now on the look out for a "temperature gun" which looks to be very useful.

Me too, that is a very useful piece of kit for all of us keeping Shelled creatures!
great talk and excellent presentation. Another very successful meeting Wendy, albeit a little light in attendance.
The two guests I brought along with me spent the whole journey back to their homes praising the content of the afternoon meeting!

Pat, was so thrilled to see Andy's work with Indian Star Tortoises. She had herself kept this species for many decades until she was persuaded to gift them to a BCG connection.
Wendy, must be complimented not only for her glorious cakes but the quality of the speakers she manages to procure for these meetings.
