Just gone through the whole new phone thing myself and ended up with a Sony Ericcson Vivaz.. My priority was for the camera though..... Shoots HD video which I was amazed at considering it's size....
Havent used the HTC Desire before but I've got an HTC work phone and they are good quality.. Think about what you want from a phone before you choose as there is no perfect one yet!!! Remember aswell that with smart phones the battery's arent great if you use it constantly. It'll be flat in a day as the big screens, processors and other gizmo's drain power..... One thing I was surprised at is how useable the internet is on phones now... Still doesnt beat a computer but handy for even more ebay impulse buys!!!!!!!

I have a HTC Magic and wouldnt change it for the world!! Its down fall is the camera but I have a digital camera anyways.....
The apps are free and there is a wide variety, I have some found some really cool stuff. The software is by Android and they are superb....... if you want a cool gadget, that is basically the same as an iphone but you dont pay for apps then its a good choice. My partner is a total nerd and he had said his next phone will be an Android. My one has a track ball which is ace and the battery life is great. Because they are google phone you can also do chat via your google account so no need to pay for texts ideal if your contacts have google accounts. I hope this helps |

Well as soon as they activate the sim I will see if its any good.
As long as it makes calls its about all I will use it for after I've finished playing. |

I have one, got it on Monday as an upgrade and so far i love it!! It doesnt come with an info book, so had to go online to work out how to put music on the SD card which is a 4g card, so alot bigger than the one from my Samsung Jet. Havent uploaded pictures yet, but they look fab on the screen. Like the way that where ever you are because it had gps it tell you what the weather is, eg was overcast thismorning and it had drizzly rain coming down on the screen, or clouds passing by.....small things like that amuse me Cant tell you anything techy because i'm useless with stuff like that. The battery seems to go fast, but thats because at every oppertunity i'm playing with it!

Yes I noticed it only has 4Gb, never mind I can soon get a bigger card. The lack of book is a bit annoying but I'll figure it out eventually.

The HTC Desire would be my next phone if I needed a new one at this moment.
I hear the battery is utter pants though with some people needing to recharge day. Obviously this depend on usage. |
