Thanks everyone, I now have a new gate and motion dectectors out in the back garden. Sadly there is no sign of my missing hen, I live in quite a rural area so i think that the foxes may have got her. I am still only going to have the torts out when im there! I actually thought they would be safe as there is only 16 houses where i live and no road in we only have a footpath and the carpark is up the other end and i do speak to most of the neighbours. I suppose its just a sign of the times and i will just have to learn from my mistake!

So sorry to hear you bad news.
Sad about your little lady but what a relief your tortoises were in. I think it is everybodies nightmare to have their tortoises taken. I really must look into getting my enclosure alarmed in some way. It is such a frightening experience I bet you dont want to leave the house now !!!. |
