Question tortoise table

Hi guys

I've been wanting to move my two hermmans into a table for a while and found these on ebay. Any opinions on if these are going to be large enough etc would be appreciated before i buy one:-

Would work out cheaper to buy an indoor rabbit cage.. same thing really but quite alot cheaper. also i have a rabbit cage and a tort table but tbh ide stick with tort tables.. their alot easier.

You can get a nice wooden tort table for about £40 or a bookcase lay on its back or some tort owners used indoor rabbit cages, all good

I was looking at getting one of these before I got my two torts and was advised not to bother as the frame doesn't take the weight of the soil very well x

I think that is a rather expensive and ugly "contraption".

For a lot less than that, as has been said, you could easily make a table from a bookcase etc.

Also the fact the description, presumably the maker's, said it was ideal for terrapins put me right off. There is no way you could keep them in that!

I know you want it for tortoises, but two would certainly outgrow it fairly quickly. I would also be a bit dubious of its strength etc. I can also see the wire getting rusty if it gets wet - a bit like cheap parrot cages where the silver coloured metal bars rust and look dreadful.
