2 horsfields, male and female
Male and female horsfields, will be 5 years and 6 years old in July this year.
These were my hatchlings and I am advertising for someone I sold them to who unfortunately can't keep them any more. Kept in a tortoise table and fed on a weed diet, outside during summer. They will come with their tortoise table, however may need splitting up as the male becomes more dominant. Looking for a good home more than the money, £100 for both tortoises and set up. I am not sure how to upload pictures? Southampton. |

Hi I would be interested in purchasing the tortoises but they would be the first I've owned and whilst I have read quite a bit about looking after them I would need some help. I would understand if you would prefer a more experienced owner but I would provide a safe and loving forever home if you were prepared to offer ongoing advice.
Many thanks Tara |

Tara is you decide to go ahead then this forum will provide you with lots of support.
Are you near Southampton? You may wish to join the Hampshire Tortoise Society - more help and advice. They do provide advice sheets on their web site for free. I got my two torts at 2 years old and didn't have a clue, but was prepared to learn, just a bit slow in finding this forum unfortunately. However, followed everything on the Tortoise Trust site and they are now 9 and just come out of hibernation and doing well.

Hi sorry I have only just seen these messages, I don't keep tortoises any more however would be more than happy to give advice, but like others have said this website as well as others offer great support . If you are interested you would need to bare in mind they may need separating as the male becomes dominant. If you are near Southampton or swindon and are interested let me know and we can work something out.
