Lovely dudes. I am getting some this month. Can you tell me how easy/hard they are to keep. I have been reading up and there are so many different opinions.
Can you worm them as some say the insects they eat give them worms and I really don't want my son getting worms again (he had pin worm shortly after we got our tortoise) he should wash his hands but you know what 10 year olds are like.

What substrate do you use, what live food do you feed and where do you get it? Sorry about all the questions. I have been on RFUK but things move so fast over there your messages get lost sometimes without a reply.

I guess you could worm them, a quick google search would answer that I'm sure. Prob best to do a test first though.
They are quite easy to look after when you got their setup up right and the temps correct.
I have the hygine gel handwash stuff sat next to my vivs and my daughter is now in the habbit of using it everytime she handles them
I have slate effect ceramic tiles on the floors of my vivs, nice and easy to keep clean and I've read that sand is a no no alot. Before I got the tiles I just used kitchen paper I feed them locust, roaches, silk, calci, buffalo, and butter worms and wax worms as a treat. I tried them with crickets but they weren't keen. I get them from local petshop, local roach breeder, rickslivefood.co.uk and ebay.
If your getting babies be warned they eat loads LOL x
