Ooo exciting. So is there algae etc growing on the rock? How long do you have to wait until it's ready for fish?

It's going to be a stunning tank!
We kept a massive tropical fish tank for years and I used to yearn for a marine tank whenever we went to the fish shop. It was beyond our price range back then. Can't wait to see photos as it develops.

Nice. I almost got started on marines but my wife wasn't so keen as we had two freshwater tanks already. The guy I used get my fish stuff from had those open top marine living rock tanks they were quite shallow but also quite wide and square and I wanted one of those. Mostly it was shrimps and small stuff he had in them

It looks great, can you get starfish? Please get catfish!
I used to keep tropical fish, my favourite was Spike Dyson my catfish, the kissing gauramis and Mars my siamese fighting fish. The worst fish I ever had were angel fish.... ate every neon I had. |

Wow, do many people actually keep seahorses in this country? Sorry, that sounds so naive but I just think they are so beautiful
