Exclamation Red marks on Plastron... (not growth lines)

Bit worried, so I'm only posting this until I can get a vets appointment...
but just bathing the pair today, and Fiorano (the bigger one) has some pretty major red marks on his plastron.
The flash makes them look darker than they are, but even so, they're pretty significant.

When I checked him last night he was tucked up in the furthest corner from the heater, not overly unusual so I didn't disturb him.

Today when I've come to bath them, he was still in the same place and really cold. - All tucked in tightly so I couldn't see any limbs.

I put him in the bath and put warm water in (cooler than I usually do).

Anyway, once he'd come out of his shell so to speak, I set about inspecting as I usually do, that's when I was pretty horrified to see this.

What do we think? worst case scenario's are running through my mind at the moment, septicaemia?, shell-rot?, bruising?

Any thoughts?

Other than this, health and condition seems fine

You say the picture is making it darker, how much darker? There seem to be darker spots at the corners of the abdominal scutes and some on the pectoral scutes. Are they red spots or just more pink?
If you had just posted the picture without saying it made it darker, I would have definately said septicemia. All in all I'd get to a vet as soon as possible.

Wow, right, another quick question, he was just in the process of doing a poo, and what I can only describe as "some internals" popped out and shot back in again....
It might well have been his willy (!) I've never seen it before - I assume it comes out the same 'hole'?!!

Forgot, make sure you have an x-ray taken as this could be caused by a stone that isn't able to be passed.

That does look redder than a pink flush, so yes the vets ASAP.
