Tortoise fall!!!

Last night my 3 year old horsefields tortoise managed to pull himself (thinking of Baley as a 'he' eventhough he's not sexed yet) out of his tortoise table and fell 2 feet between the floor and the cabinet.

After inspecting him there is no physical damage to the shell and he seems to be walking around okay. He does seem to be in shock though (a little out of sorts). Not surprising really!!!

Any advice please????

My DH is going to put wire around the edge of the table to prevent him getting out again.
