Looking for various tortoises
I am looking for a new tortoise,preferably a hermann, Ibera, Marginated or Sulcata but will also consider red foot, horsfield, leopard a few others.

That is quite a wide variety you would be interested in, with very different needs.
Have you researched them ALL? Some of the breeds you have mentioned do not hibernate and will grow very big, whereas others will hibernate and are much smaller breeds. Each breed has different dietry and housing requirements, so make sure you have done your research and have decided on the breed you are after and people will be more willing to help |

I agree with all of above. Do some research, narrow your choice down. Decide if you can accomodate a large tort, if you want to pay heating bills all winter etc & then when you have a few in mind ask specific questions about said tort. Owners will be more than happy to share their experiences with you. If you look in the med section (think its the top one as you look at the page!) there is someone doing just this & getting lots of replies, perhaps some of that info may help you?
