I probably haven't a clue either Mary ! I wonder if you can work it out better Emma? ....reason was there was a debate by someone saying they wouldn't have a tortoise because it cost too much to have the bulbs on over winter etc, and I wanted to give them an approximate for an informed debate. I thought it was pennies a day and it should be as in if 7 bulbs cost me £30 a month and you divide that into days....0.96p a day and then divide 0.96p by 7 bulbs that works out as 13p a day to have one bulb on your tortoise !
