I'll have to wait til I go back out to my mum's...she'd from a breeder on this forum and he says its a she....but when they are young it can be hard to tell?

She's slightly too big for her age, she's grown a...

She's slightly too big for her age, she's grown a bit fast as my mum was over feeding her, she's cut it down and stopped giving her pellets...but she always eats her food and she has a pansy plant...

Hi guys just wondering if as anyone else's tortoise tries to bite and head butt you. She never used to do anything like this but just recently she's opening her mouth like she's going to bite!!...

All sorted now the husband has managed to clamp it 14" from the substrate so that'll make it 12.5" from the tort, and it's getting 36c :-D *sigh of relief* time for bed! Thanks for your help.

well my temps now are 35c at lamp end, 25c at cool end and between 15c and 18c at night when everything is off.....so they are perfect temps are they not?

It's the adjustable lamp arm on the table...

its 11.5" from the bottom of the bulb to the substrate....says on the box it should be 12" from the bottom of the lamp to the tortoise's back for a 160w bulb.....from the bottom of the bulb reflector...

I just had a look at the bulb booklet it says 12" for a 160w so i'v managed to get it to that level, but it's the temps that's confusing me surely they shouldn't be reading so low?

Thanks for the info guys......got her today and she's gorgeous, she loves her table and has been eating so i'm happy, she's currently sleeping in her hide :-D :-D. Got her some dried dandelions...

Hi, has anyone got Tom Booth's number he makes tort tables....can't get a hold of him on this or by email and i'm in need of a 4" x 2" table with 2 adjustable fixtures for separate heat/light bulbs...
