Why do we need to join can't see the point

I have a Facebook account but don't use it, I prefer to talk tortoise stuff privately on a specialised private forum like this one, I don't want the world knowing about my tortoises, its a shame because most members now use Facebook and not come on here very much x

That's a good point, I only post on closed groups. Well sometimes I make a mistake and post pics on the open ones but once I realise I tend to just read them or answer questions if I know the answer.
I like facebook for keeping in touch with old friends I wouldn't ordinarily see otherwise, but you have to be careful what you put on there for the world to see. x

I agree Bev, though I don't have a FB account. I'm not a fan of FB. I really miss a lot of the old posters from here - people seem to have drifted elsewhere since the summer, which is such a shame. The forum has become too quiet. :(

I got out of the habit of coming on here when it was down, I try to come on because I miss chatting to those not on facebook, but then days will go by and I'll have forgotten. :oops:
