How To Make Calcium Blocks
Hi all,
I thought i'd post this on how to make calcium blocks. What You'll need 1 Bowl 1 Spoon 1 Cup of Water 1 Bag of Limestone Flour 1 Ice Cube Tray http://i53.tinypic.com/14alt9l.jpg Pour Some Water & Limestone Flour into a bowl. Mix till you make a thickish paste,If it's too watery just add more limestone flour http://i52.tinypic.com/2zjb5lj.jpg Once you've made it into a paste pour/scoop it into an ice cube tray http://i52.tinypic.com/zkpahh.jpg Wait 24- 48 hours till it's completely dry then give to your tortoises. http://i55.tinypic.com/2nvas8m.jpg My lot won't touch the stuff on their food or eat it from dishes and i've found this was the best way to give it to them :D |
An excellent post, thank you!
