60 Watt Spot Lamps.

Don't know if anyone else is having trouble buying 60 watt spot lamps from Wilkinsons but our two local stores have completely stopped selling them

i buy in bulk off ebay.

talking to a member of staff B&Q are to stop selling normal bulbs at the end of this year

I have been worried about this issue for some time now. What will happen when the normal bulbs are all gone and we are left with the eco friendly ones that don't give off any heat? Luckily I have a local independent DIY store that still has a suply but that wont last forever.

the women in B&Q said you will need to change to wither just heat emitting bulbs or she reconed hologen bulbs will be the same as old type spot bulbs???

i bought a load in a few months back so in theory should be ok for a few years

We also buy them in bulk from a local store but when stuck I've used these
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Ligh...or+Lamp/p94263 and they give off ample heat and always seem to have them in stock.

Thank's for that Emma, just ordered 10, the postage is a bit steep but I can have peace of mind for a while.

No problem Wendy. I didn't know about the postage costs as we have a Toolstation close to where hubby works so he pops in for them. I'll find out the name of the store we usually use in case it is national. We get the bulbs cheaply from them as long as we order over 10, so they are around 50p each. :)
I'll let you know.

If you'd made it up to £10 it would appear to be free delivery.

Why didn't I see that? Maybe I'll cancel the order and re-order.
