Unhappy(ish) Horsefield

Hi every one, Im a newby on here

Just wondering if anyones got any tips for me.
Ive recently purchased a 8 year old horsefield Tortoise and she doesnt
seem too happy to be here. Is it me just being paranoid because she needs time to settle in.

Hi enri, I suspect your tort is just settling in, they really hate change and can take a while to adjust.

If you can tell us a little about her set up it will help us to see if anything needs tweaking, and see if there is anything wrong.

So...a few questions...

To start with

What lighting and heating do you use

What are the temperatures:

*Under her basking lamp
*At the cool end
*Ambient room temperature
*night time temperature

Hi Enri!

Welcome to the forum.

What is your tort doing that makes you think she's unhappy?

They all take a while to settle as they don't really like change.

If you can give us some more details I'm sure others will be slong to advise.

Hi Welcome. Torts can be moody. I have 2 horsefields, right now one is not eating much and sleeping a lot. The other is all over the place eating everything in site. A few months ago it was the other way round.
