To the admin/ problems logging in
 

I had lots of problems logging in this morning,

I logged in as normal and got the message thank you for logging in Daryn but I couldnt post or see my profile section, when I tried to reply to a post it said my account may be disabled, that was one of the things it said could be at fault anyway, I thought I had done something wrong lol.

Anyway Ive sent admin a message but Im now in, all I done was shut the page down then re open it and logged in as normal.

Well it did happen again today, I logged in as normal and again the site said thanks for logging on Daryn but I wasnt actually logged in, I tried a few times and the only way I could get on was to close the site down and restart it. Its not a problem but if anyone else has this problem just shut it down like I did.

Have you tried clearing your cache?

I havent no but I do a regular disc clean including deleting history

I think Ctrl+F5 clears it on internet explorer, not sure about other browsers

yep had the same problem again today, dont know why and it only seems to happen on this site, very strange, I cleared the cache the history the lot, shut it down and reopened it but it took a few goes to get in MMMMMMMMmmmmmm never come across this before. I switched between IE and Google a few times before I got in.

I think I might have found the problem but will keep you all posted, When ever you leave this site for a while you have to re-logg in to gain access BUT if you access the site from your mobile phone I always seem to be logged in. So last night I manually logged out from the mobile phone and had no problems today. It might just be coincidence but who knows I'm having no probs at the moment.

That's a cookie related issue.

It's more common by logging people out after X amount of time.

I recommend every now and again, clicking log out (which clears cookies set by the forum) and then closing the browser down, then log back in again, remembering to click 'remember me'. This will then set a fresh new cookie that hasn't got issues.

I'd do it monthly at least.
