Bittercress

I have an odd request! Would someone be kind enough to go pick a crown of bittercress and photograph it in your hand and then post the pic on here! It is a weed I am still not 100% sure on identifying. Chris posted some brilliant pics of it but I would like to see what it looks like at this time of year. Hope someone can help - thanks

Hi Sylvia,

Don't know is these are any good. I picked a fair bit of bitter cress when out and about this morning and I've got a few in my garden. I noticed a lot of them are coming into flower, long stalks protruding out with bunches of tiny white flowers on the end. Its hardly a specimen...

They have white flowers, which if you leave to set seed, then you will have plenty again next year:)

When I look at plants I just can't think what they are. I'm rubbish at getting it right

me too anna. I stink at it.

You just need a lot of practice at looking at leaves and flowers:)

I think it might get easier as they grow bigger, they are all very small ATM

There's just so little about at the moment; come Springtime, we'll all be experts!

Bittercress is the one weed that comes out in Winter, but alas its only very small:(
