I know I won't hear the end of it if I don't post a picky now ! Grateful to Gordon for Eva Peron. She is gorgeous, needs lots of tlc which is fabulous for me watching her grow. As you can see loves egg shells and especially all things water.

My wolfgang book suddenly has come to life too (grazia wolfgang & Gordon !)

Eva - a beautiful name for such a beautiful tort. There's nowhere better she could be for TLC. I look forward to watching her grow and flourish.
Thanks for bowing to the pressure and posting photos. :-)

Oh wow Eva is just gorgeous, & looks so tiny. I cant believe how lovely & clear you pictures are Clare, what camera do you take them on?

Eva Peron - another great name. How old is she? Why does she need TLC.

She looks adorable.

I didn't know about the egg shell. Do all torts like this? She isn't very lady like in her eating though! Such a huge mouth for such a little one.

She is about 6 months old and she was just a slow grower but nothing obviously wrong with her.
I caught clare hand feeding her so her punishment was she had to take it home.:)

Thank you, thank you everyone. It was like a scene out of les miserables...& caught red handed ! but didn't see the other time showed her food !! (I love that pub song..master of the house....).

I was in shock taking her home and my face hurt so much as I was smiling masses all the way home! (been v v sad as had to have my 16 year old Labrador put down in February after she collapsed  She had been so unwell for a year and she had a beautiful life- still got a 16 year old terrier who is blind in one eye, cataract in the other, deaf with rotten teeth - love him to bits like an old teddy bear.....).

sooo really made up !! and had fabulous time at the Group open day.

She was up 3 grammes but lost 2 so only up 1 and not quite a month passed. will keep an eye on her!

Lynne the camera is a lumix - nothing massively special I do love photography and make sure the macro is on with all the shots as you can pan in even if taking a distance one,

oh and Jan, I got the egg shell idea out of wolfgangs book ! never seen or tried it before (but I suppose they do sell oyster shell...). I always remember the time Andy H went ballistic at some one who fed their tortoise boiled egg (he was soooo sarcastic it was very funny actually, who said sarcasm was the lowest form of wit...it helps with recollection). So I cooked up an egg - I had it for breakfast and Eva had the shell - she loved it - ate and bashed it about too. some went into the little Horsfields pen and they devoured it (but then they are like velociraptors), CB
