my veiny egg!

Just thought I would upload a pic of one of my eggs showing veins at 13 days! Am very excited only had infertile eggs before and now I have 7 fertiles from two different ladies!

also one thing id like to know. The four that were laid at the same time, 3 have a clear embryo and veins and one that I initially thought was infertile as it didnt chalk has now today developed a ring of life! Is this normal for eggs from same clutch?? The others seem to be all at same stage but this one is lagging behind

It's so exciting to see veins and embryos developing isn't it? Congratulations on your fertile eggs. :)

Yes really exciting. I have a few people lined up who want to buy hatchlings too!

Yes it's very possible to have an egg or two from a clutch that lag behind. I also have had eggs that didn't "properly" chalk but just turn white when the embryo starts to develop.

Danny

I've got one or two out of my four that might be doing this.
I got one pink jelly been and maybe two others that are just chalking , they seem quite a bit behind the other one , I didn't know they could do this. Could they still develop .
